How RoboPool Clean Lab makes money
Short answer: the retailer links on this site don’t earn us anything yet. If that changes, this page and the note above the first retailer link on each page will say so before it applies.
Current status
As of launch, we have not joined any affiliate program. Retailer links are plain links to the retailer’s own page. We will list each program here when we join it.
Until then, the note you see above retailer links reads: “These retailer links don’t earn us anything yet. If that changes, this note will say so.”
If we join a program, the note will change to: “We may earn a commission if you buy through retailer links. It never changes our data or scores.” Whatever happens, commissions don’t change our data, scores or rankings.
How links are marked
- A short note sits directly above the first retailer link on any page that has one.
- Retailer links read “Check price at {retailer}” with an arrow ↗, next to the date the price was checked.
- Today those links carry
nofollow noopener. Once a link is tracked for a commission, it will also carry thesponsoredattribute, and the note above will say so.
Pages without retailer links
Recall pages, the battery data page, the swimming-safety guide, and our trust pages (Methodology, Pool-Fit Score, About) carry no retailer links, so no disclosure note appears on them.
